Ingredients

  • 120 g butter (softened at room temperature)

  • 75 g brown sugar

  • 75 g granulated sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 200 g flour

  • 30 g cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 175 g chocolate

Directions

  • Start preheating your oven to 180 degrees on fan setting.
  • Place greaseproof paper on two baking trays.
  • Mix flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat butter, brown and granulated sugar until creamy.
  • Add egg and beat just until mixed.
  • Add flour mixture, beat and stop as soon as it becomes dough.
  • Finally add some chocolate chips and mix into dough with your hands.
  • You can weigh 30 grams of dough and roll them.
  • Place circles on your trays with a little space between them, add remaining chocolate chips on them and bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes. Do not cook it any further thinking that it is not cooked through, it will harden while cooling on the tray.
